Guiding Hands Support Group was developed to offer a listening ear for those in our community who are facing difficult circumstances in life and to provide support and guidance where it is needed.

What About Confidentiality?

Confidentiality is important to Guiding Hands Support Group.  All contact made with support members will be kept confidential between support member and community member.

How Can We Help?

Here are some examples of situations where Guiding Hands can provide help and direction:

  • Abuse – emotional, physical, sexual, incest, verbal, domestic, neglect
  • Addiction – alcohol, drugs, pornography, gambling, sex
  • Life Changes – personal illness, illness or death in family, separation, divorce, postpartum struggles, disabilities
  • Mental Health – depression, anxiety, panic, personality disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorders
  • Mind States – anger, aggression, hate, isolation, loneliness, grief, suicidal thoughts, fear
  • Relationships – marriage, dating, familial, infertility, pregnancy, homosexuality, abortion, bullying
  • Work Situations – work environment, job loss, burnout, disability, retirement
  • Safe/Respite Homes – open homes for children and teens that need access to safe/respite homes
